Dynamic Column Data

Hi

Been looking at dynamic ranges for populating a column with data in another sheet but not sure if it is what I need.

Is there another way of getting the data in sheet1 col-A to sheet2 col-B dynamicaly and with automatic expansion to that if I add a row to sheet1 it will reflect in sheet2? I would idealy like for sheet2 col-A to mirror sheet1 col-B exactly with formatting etc.

Can you not copy the entire column?

Worksheets("Sheet1").Columns("A:A").Copy
Worksheets("Sheet2").Columns("B:B").PasteSpecial
Application.CutCopyMode = False

If a new row gets added to sheet1 I don't really wanna copy and paste as there will be a number of records and columns.

Try this in Sheet 2, Cell B1, then drag the formula down the column:

=IF(Sheet1!A1="","",Sheet1!A1)

This is saying if Sheet1 Cell A1 is blank, then make Sheet2 Cell B1 blank. Otherwise, make Sheet2 Cell B1 = value in Sheet1 Cell A1.
