Dynamic Sub-Table

I am attempting to create a sub-table from a master data set based on two factors (product type, date range). The sub table columns are essentially identical to the master and just want to limit the number of rows displayed based on the two factors. I found a nice one factor approach on YouTube using Excel Magic Trick 538 and have been successful in using the formula as designed (for one filter factor) to create the first row of the sub-table but cannot get the results to extend to other rows. My goal was to get this working for one factor then figure out how to use two factors. However, I am open to any approach that will give me the sub-table.
