Hi, thank you for this forum it is a godsend, gosd bless you all

my question goes like this

I have the following fields

A1 B1 C1 D1 E1 D1 F1 G1

A1-D1 are ok,
A1 has similar data as E1 so I want to put same fields of E1 in the same row as A1 but D1 F1 G1 have to be locked with E1, they are dependant on E1

So I want to align E! plus D1, F!, G1 with A1 depending on A1 and E1 corellation

Thank you I hope you understand what I want

can somebody write me a code please, it is really important, I just don't get Excel, never good at math at school

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Welcome to the Board!

Can you post an example of what you have now and your desired outcome? If you check the link in my sig for the HTML maker you'll be able to do it.

You don't need to save anything. As soon as you go through the HTML Maker steps it copies the code the clipboard. Then just come back here and paste, and post. The board software will automatically render the code for you.

We'll have to work on updating it so that it gives you a message that it's copied the sheet.

Removed HTML Image - It was blowing up the page. You need to take smaller shots. Note that you can post multiple images on a page on top of each other. Moderator

Ok I managed it, thank you, great plugin!

BAsically I want align in the same row A and AP column because they have same product id info, but AQ-AS are linked to AP column so they need to be moved with AP.

Make a copy of the sheet, and on that copy delete the range AP2:AT8 (keeps the headers).
Then put the following formulae in AP2:AT2, and copy down. You shouldn't need to keep column AP since it's a duplicate of column A.
Then you can copy|paste-special|values in situ to lose the formulae.
