Hey everyone, I would certainly appreciate some help. I am trying to get a cell to be blank if it errors.

I am using the:

=EDATE($I$2,M3)

function, but some cells I don't want filled in, so I return a #VALUE! error by entering the text "x" instead of a number in the M3 cell.

Is there a way to edit my formula in order for EDATE cell to just be blank or to at least read "0" or "Null"?

ANy help would be very appreciated!

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
In versions 2007 or higher, use:
=IFERROR(EDATE($I$2,M3),"")

This one will work in any version:
=IF(ISNUMBER(M3),EDATE($I$2,M3),"")
