Edate question

It looks like EDATE adds 30 to the serial date when you increment by a month. I would like to be able to increment a date which starts at the end of a month, and have it then be the last day of the next month, without regard to how many days are in the month. Is there a way to do this? (short of building an array of months and their number of days)

thanks

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
You want the last date of NEXT month from a given date in say A1...

Try

=DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+2,0)
