I have a table, in which are values covering a time range October 2022 - September 2023.

Whent I make a pivot table, and I add a Timeline, then I only want these 12 months to appear in the timeline.

Not the whole range Jan 2022 - Dec 2023.

Any way to achieve this ?

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Hi,
Within your Pivot Table fields, there are Filters and for Dates you also have features to Group as you wish ...:)
