I'm looking to do references like

E2: =B2
F2: =C2

But want to do only if there is data
Problem is empty cells in B2 or C2 aren't "empty" they are
",", "0", or "-" and I want them to show as empty cells in the result if that's all they contain

Thanks

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)

Maybe something like this...

=IF(OR(B2={",","0","-"}),"",B2)
