End of Month formula

Is there a formula that will return the last date of the month for a referenced date besides EOMONTH?

I would like to avoid using EOMONTH since it requires adding on analysis tool pack which other users may not have installed.

yes use DATE

=DATE(YEAR(...),MONTH(...)+1,1)-1

where ... = a given date value.
