There is a translation of XL functions in different languages. Tick the language you are interested in.

Can't confirm this but someone once told me there is a version of Office that has a Multi-Language interface.

Do a google search and see if anything comes up.

If you are developping a spreadsheet for non-english users and need to use Formulas but want the users to be able to understand the meaning of the formulas you could write for them language friendly Named Formulas and/or VBA UDFs.

Obviously this would only be prectical in very limited scenarios such as when there is a small number of cells with such formulas and the user is not supposed to edit them.
