Enter on Text box not working

Hi All,

I have a regular text box in Excel 365.

All i want to be able to do is press enter to ho to a new line but its not letting me do that - i tried pressing down and nothing happens too...

I also want to format the text box so when i press enter i get a bullet point like i do in powerpoint

where am i going wrong

Normally using enter from the number pad will not work, just the letters pad.

So i cant press enter from letter pad but can from other areas of pad?

And thank you - can i have bullet point populated like i can do on PowerPoint on enter?

Probably not. I have seen similar questions, using VBA may be possible.
You can highlite the text and right click to add bullets. But not as you type.
