HI all,

I have a macro that builds a report with many charts (same type, same format, different value) , inside every chart area I have a textbox (named txt as shape)
after setting about one hundred charts correctly, this line below gives me an error (#1004, say the property cannot be changed)

txt.TextFrame.Characters.Font.Bold = True

why?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
this error seems to be general, about the workbook. it seems that I reach an unknown-to-me limit (number of character type, I suppose).

anyone have a clue about it? I don't know what produces it and how to treat it.
