in a difined rage ("A1:A100")

Accepted. Perhaps I could have extended my comment with an explanation. Many times, when somebody asks a question with a pre-determined solution in mind, I am hesitant to spend(waste) time when there may be a much easier solution available. You only mentioned how you wanted to do something and not why. That is why I asked. No biggy. Glad I could hep you.
