EVENT RESULTS SPREADSHEET HELP

Hello,

I have a r dilemma, in the spreadsheet below. I want to find the Group FTD [ col AB for Class 1 to Class 4 and this has to be repeated over other groups of classes but the overall winner, although first in class, is precluded from winning the class FTD [ Fastest time of Day ] Car 22 finished second in Class 1, so he should get the FTD.....just need a formula for it.

Any help would be fantastic

Maybe working from the values you already have computed in X,Y,Z,AA, try as below.

Just noticed that you Class headers are in row 8 not row 10 as I have above.

So edit the formula for AB13 to be

=CONCAT(IF(X13:AA13=1+X$12:AA$12,X$8:AA$8& "  FTD",""))

and drag down.
