Events stopped working after moving the sheet to another workbook

I need help to figure out why my events stopped working. It is sheet with Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range) and I needed to move it to another workbook. I dragged the sheet into another workbook, which also has some other sheets. After I got the sheet into the other workbook, the events stopped to work,(unless I triggered them manually), but the macros buttons worked if I pressed them.
Wondering if anyone knows how to fix that it would be highly appreciated. this "new" other workbook that I dragged the sheet into contains some other sheets as well.
Maybe I am transferring the sheet in a wrong way, not sure

Please!

regards

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Try this: In the VBE press CTRL + G to open the Immediate Window, type

Application.EnableEvents=True

and press Enter.

1) open the Sheet module of the sheet you moved, are the codes still there?
2) save, close Excel completely and restart, any better?
3) are macros disabled in the new workbook? Are your securities interfering?
4) can't think of a #4 yet

It seems like when I change the external source (from one API to another) the that disables my events , for some reason. Do you have any solution for that as with the new API the events are not responding?
