I am inputting hourly times worked on a schedule. I have formatted the cells in excel 2003 in the time format "1:30 pm". If a person works from 12:00 am to 07:00 am, when 12:00 am is entered in a cell, it looks blank, but if you click on the cell the value is 12:00:00 am. I've tried to reformat it multiple times. What am I missing? When the formula is used involving that cell, the value of 12:00 am is being utilized correctly, it just won't display the time format in the cell, it remains visibly blank!!!

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
I figured out my own question. I have the worksheet set not to show "0" values. Since 12:00 am will equal "0", that is what happened.

Go figure.
