Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
You'll need to give us a bit more info. What're the values you expect in cell A1 that would make it Red? And then if cell A2 goes Red at same time as A1, you just apply the same conditional formula to cell A2, making sure that the CF in both cases reference $A$1.

... are you saying that if cell A1 contains a formula ( rather than a value ), then both A1 and A2 should turn red?

Apologies guys, not explained very well, tried to simplify but badly.
Try again.
Cells B2:W2 have a date in the format 01/01/2011
Cells B3:W3 have the =B2 etc and custom formatted ddd
Cells B4: W4 have a customer ref: No.

I want B3:B4 to be in a formatted colour if the date in cell B2 is a Saturday etc.

Thanks Jase
