How do I stop 2007 Excel from connecting to online help as a default. Tried the offline help setting at the bottom of the help screen but it doesn't stick.

Is there a way to set help to default to offline?

Hi Ziggy12,

This may be too late for you, but it may help someone else when searching in the future.

Click the Excel icon in the top left corner, click Excel Options (bottom right), click Trust Center, Trust Center Settings, Privacy Options, uncheck the top box, Ok, OK.
