excel 2007 VS. 2003

All quick question, i have searched for an answer in the historical threads and can't seem to find an answer. I have Excel 2007 on my PC, i saved a spreadsheet in that version, one of my peers has 2003 and cannot open it or convert the spreadsheet to 2003. I've tried saving the spreadsheet in 2003, Excel keeps restarting, any suggestions and thank you.

Just thought of a question, so there's no way for me who uses 2007 to revert back to 2003?

Of course you can, uninstall 2007 and install 2003.
