I migrated an old EXCEL 2002 file which contains 8 'complicated' charts into EXCEL 2007. Each chart consists of 6 data series of ~900 points. I have macros which change the data that is plotted using simple math....i.e. the data ranges remain the same but the data change. All of the charts have a date range for the X axis so I have macros to change the range on all so that they are the same. In ver2002 the charts update with these macros with very little delay (<1 sec). In ver2007 these updates can take over 15sec...likewise when I try to manually edit one of these charts it often takes over 5sec to 'grab' focus on the part of the chart I want to edit (series, axis). I've tried regenerating the charts by bringing the data into ver2007 and creating the charts but once I get the data plotted everything slows down. At present ver2007 is almost useless for most of my charting applications because editing takes so **** long. Is anyone else experiencing this.

2007 is significantly slower than anything I have ever seen. I avoid it like the plague. I hope I get promoted to a point where I don't have to use excel anymore by the time 2007 is prevalant. I'm sure lotus 123 people thought the same thing in 1992
