Hi Folks,
I have set up a spread sheet to enable me to highlight the labels and open the form box on excel 2010 so that the values can be put in

How ever I want to be able to access this form no matter what spread sheet or workbook that I may be in at the time.

Can these forms be saved and opened with a macro. And if so how would you do it.

Thanks in adavnce

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Just an update ... here is an image of the form I am looking to save. It has a name of Data Entry which is actually the name of the spread sheet tab.

I would like to name and access this the blank form via a macro if it is possible.

Does anybody know how to go about this.

Thanks

In Excel you have a personal workbook which is normally a hidden workbook, if you recorded a macro in a new workbook but looked to store in the Personal Workbook then use the View Tab and Unhide, you will be able to place a copy of the UserForm and any code in the Personal Workbook therefore you should be able to run the userform in any workbook you open.

Hi Trevor,
Thanks for the advice Mate... I have found that I can't actually change the name of the form above unless I change the name of the worksheet it is in. For now that is ok becuase I can devote a worksheet to each form I guess, but if there was a way to name and save them I'd be keen to know.
The personal worksheet may well be a way better way to set up.

Thanks
Trevor
