Excel 2010 Sort

dear all

i am trying to sort in a certain maner, the list is as per below

so i am selecting the list , add it to the "Edit custom List", then delete it from excel.
when i add a pivot table , the pivot table is no respecting the list

please avdvsie.
 

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.

to use custom sort in PivotTable
in Row Lable From Small Arrow, Choose More Sort Option
Choose Ascending and then From More Options
then
Remove Check From Sort Automatically, then from first Key Sort Order , Choose Your List

i tried that before posting and still didn't work.
excel suppose to take automatically, i use to do it before.
sometime i just can't explain excel behaviour :)
only in power pivot you have to do it as you suggest, it is like 8 to 9 steps.
