Hi guy's

What i would like to do if possible is to be able to pull in data from a live SQL database into excel but not to lose the data when closed, but the data been updated either daily or weekly.
is then possible to create a in a new sheet to manipulate the data so i am looking at 6months of data but i might only want to look at one month rather than 6 months worth but the data i pull in i still want it to be there in case i need to look at another month.
hope it makes sense.

thank you for your time and help - cheers Jason

There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN

Like I said, it is fine to do that on this site; your reason for doing so is legitimate. You didn't upset me, I was just directing you to our board policy on how cross-posts should be set-up. I see you are a noob, and figured that you probably weren't familiar with that guideline.
