I just got upgraded to Excel 2016 this morning. I am doing a pivot table on data which includes timesheet dates. There are two pay periods a month. I need to show the numeric value in the form of MM/DD. However, the pivot table is converting it to just month. I.E Feb, Aug, Sep, Oct. I have changing the number format but it will not change. Is there a work around?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
I figured out the solution. 2016 offers a Time Grouping enhancement. I right clicked into the row I needed the MM/DD values and selected ungroup. It changed from the showing the month (Feb) to showing the dates.
