Excel 2016: QAT Icons won't stay put.

Just upgraded to Excel 2016. Why does Microsoft fix things that aren't broken?

So, first, all the color and contrast have disappeared from the icons on the Quick Access Toolbar. That sucks because the slight color and contrast that was there helped to distinguish one from the other, but I can probably get used to this "enhancement".

What I can't get used to is that the icons don't stay where I put them. I have repeatedly set them in the order that I want them to appear and for no reason at all they seem to move around and re-sequence themselves.

Please someone tell me they have seen this and have a fix for it. Having to search for the right QAT icon detracts from the "quickness" of it.

Thanks,

JPF

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Do you have more than one version of Office installed?

That's the only situation in which I've heard of it happening.
