Excel and encryption

I resave an excel file every day with a new date on a shared drive in work.. All of a sudden I have an encryption problem.When I Try to save, it closes down and won’t save.. and mentioned something about encryption.. I can however save It on My desktop. And the only way I can transfer it to the shared drive is by dragging it across.

Any ideas?

Can you try with an older file.

In my experience Excel files become corrupt from time to time without any rhyme or reason.

If the old file doesn't work i'd just copy all the info into a new file.
