Excel autorecover

It seems like every time I stop typing to think about what I'm doing, Excel starts to autorecover a few seconds before I'm done thinking and I want to continue working. The file is rather large (>50 MB) and on a network partition for automated backup purposes.

I'm not yet excluding the possibility that this is all Murphy's Law or that I happen to have the structural desire to stop typing after 9 minutes and 50 seconds of work. However, I'm most inclined to believe Excel autorecovers after a certain duration of inactivity and I'm hoping there's a way to toggle this.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Hi Moonfish
Go to the Home Button and select Excel Options
Select Save from the LH pane
The first part of the right hand window lets you set the Auto recover settings.
The default is 10 mins

Thank you, but that is not what I was looking for.

I do need the document to autosave every 10 minutes. I was wondering whether or not there is another condition (namely, duration of user inactivity) that triggers autosave, and whether or not I can configure this.
