excel bible - need a word per cell

I downloaded an Excel Bible and a cell will contain an entire verse instead of just one word. How can i make it so each cell has only one word. Thank you. Roy

Have you tried TextToColumns?

You could try Text-To-Columns with a space separator.

Mike, Mira - thanks for the reply however the first word in the verse, "The", is the only thing that shows up in A1 when i tried Text to Columns. Nothing else shows up anywhere. As is, the verse below takes up column A. So when i took your advise all i had was the word "The" in column A1. I didnot get "Revelation" in B1, i did not get "of" in C1....

Hi RoyS,

Copy your data into cellA1, or down columnA if your data are like that.

Select Cell A1 (or the used part of Column A), then go to to TextToColumns in the menu (under Data in Excel 2007).

Follow the instructions there, click the delimited option, then check the space delimiter and then Next or Finish.

This should do what you want OK.
