I have a word document with standard boilerplate language:
Company XYZ revenue for the "aaaaa" Quarter of "yyyy" was "mm" M$ USD.
I want to imbed a cell reference from Excel worksheet with the following:
Cell A1: Second
Cell A2: 2011
Cell A3: 12
The resulting boilerplate language, after I hit some type of "refresh" in Word, will then read:
Company XYZ revenue for the Second Quarter of 2011 was 12 M$ USD.
I dont want to use the 'Mail Merge' sequence in Word, I want to reference specific cells in an Excel worksheet that I will populate separately, so I can keep my boilerplate text the same, and update all of my numbers in excel and then with a single refresh bring those numbers into my memo.
If someone can help identify for me the correct sequence to embed the cell reference and syntax format for the filename.cellnumber (etc) I would be grateful. I appreciate any help the community can provide!
