Excel Cells Not updating Excel 2010

I was wonder is there's a fix to my problem. Cells in excel are not updating. The cells shows ($ -). I can updated each cell individually by clicking into the cell and hitting enter. This data set is fairly large, which takes time.

I am using Excel 2010, and Automatic is already set for Calculation Options.

Also, the cells that are not updating are cells that are being filled in after a pivot table is being updated. All the previously updated cells are fine.
