Hi there,

I'm trying to copy a chart together with its source table, within the same sheet .

However, the copied chart source does not point to the copied table, but to the original table ... !

Is there a way to avoid that??

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
You can do this by copying the entire worksheet, not just the range and chart.

right click on the worksheet tab at the bottom of the screen then click move or copy and create a copy of the worksheet.

It will have to be a 2 step process.

1) You can do this by copying the entire worksheet, not just the range and chart. Right click on the worksheet tab at the bottom of the screen then click move or copy and create a copy of the worksheet

2) copy the new chart on the new sheet including the data table and paste on your old sheet

It works for me, i am in Excel 2007

I make a copy of the worksheet tab (right click on the worksheet)

Then i copy the range of the table and graph from the new sheet and paste in the old sheet.
