Hi there
I am trying to edit the legend entries on a chart and I'm using the Select Data Source as I just want to change it on the actual chart, not on the Data Source, however the buttons are grayed out.
The Data Source worksheet is in Table format and is NOT protected and I have looked everywhere for a solution but cannot find one.
Can anyone help?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
It would appear that it is a pivot chart, in which case you cannot edit the data source. You either create a new non-pivot chart, or alter the pivot table to only show what you want in the chart.
