My columns became numbers instead of letters. How do I switch it back to letters?
Thanks

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
What version of Excel are you using?

You've probably acidentally switched to R1C1 reference style. You can swtich back by (XL 2000/2003):
Tools --> Options --> General --> [de-select] R1C1 reference style

Can't remember where it is in XL 2007/10 but almost certainly it'll be somewhere in Office Button --> Excel Options.

Excel 2003: Tools > Options > General

Excel 2007: Office Button > Excel Options > Formulas

Uncheck the R1C1 style checkbox in both cases!!
