Excel desktop vs excel online

I have removed the sheets tab and the rubbon/menu in Excel desktop (hide). However, when I open it in the browser, they came back again. Is there anyway to hide them in Excel Online too ?

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
