Greetings,

I have been struggling with an equal sign formula. The top row in the photo is equal to the ending balance from the previous column. Initial periods are pulling correctly but for some reason, the later periods' equal sign are not functioning anymore because the beginning balance is not equal to the ending balance anymore. I resarted the computer, deleted all the external links and changed calculations mode, and none worked. I would appreciate if someone could shed some light.

Thank you in advance

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
We can't really tell anything from an image. Can you post that sample again with XL2BB so that we can take a close look?

Also, I suggest that you update your Account details (click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

We can do nothing with an image.
What formula are you using in 2nd row( Beginning)?
I am thinking about "circular reference" error within the sheet.
Could you check? (in the left - bottom, there is a warning)
