Can Anyone Help!!!!

I am in the middle of creating a spreadsheet to calculate a value on decimal odds!!

In simple terms.-

The value of column A will be inputted manually
The value of Column B will be inputted manually

In order to calculate column C, I need a formula that minuses one decimal point from the value of Column A before multiplying by Column B

E.G

Column A is 5.00. Column B is 100. So C would be 5.00 Minus 1.00 X B (100). which equates to 400

Can someone kindly translate this into an excel formula as i am useless at these things

Try =(A1-1)*B1 and copy down column C as far as you need.
