Hi there,

I have a spreadsheet which contains e.g. the following data:

Cell A1 = a numbered total (e.g. £500.56)
Cell A2 = this is where a user will input Yes or otherwise it will be left blank
Cell A3 = I need the total of cell A1 copied to this cell if cell A2 = Yes

I'm sure this is quite simple, but for the life of me I can't work out the formula!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Jon

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Perfect!!! Thanks to both of you.... I knew it would be simple but it's far too early in the morning here to be thinking about formulas ;-)

Best wishes,
Jon
