Is this possible to get link over two different Excel instance ?

I can do in same Excel instance but it's not going to work with different Excel instance.

For example, I type = and go to another book in same Excel instance and can get link but If I try to get link from new Excel instance's Book, it won't get it...

I'm using Office 2003.

Please give advcie if you have some idea...

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
No, you can't do that. But you can type external references to create a link instead of trying to navigate to a book in another instance.

Why don't you have both books open in the same instance?
