I open excel...and when I go to click in any cell or row or column...the entire column or row highlights and is like a runaway train! Then when I try to shut it down it won't shut down...I have to control alt delete and end task...it then says "Microscoft excel can't quit" and then finally it quits. It's like a crazed animal. HELP! I need to work on the damm file...this happens with any excel files I open...

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.

I'm not sure what a macro might mean? I'm that bad. How would I find out? Is this easier than I think?

Escape does nothing. When I move my mouse and pointer anywhere on the page it highlights the row if I move my mouse to the right...or it highlights to infiniti the column if I move my mouse to the south or down

I can't open anything, view, file, help, anything...it's like it's locked up but the only function is that it highlights rows or columns with the slightest movement of my mouse! It's quite strange.
