How can I make the power function subtract a number each time for the next row?

e.g.

POWER(2,474)
POWER(2,473)
POWER(2,472)
POWER(2,471)
.
.
.
etc

continue on until POWER(2,0)

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Either put the 2nd argument in another cell, and decriment it that way, and reference the cell, or write a vba loop that writes out the formula manually.

Try this...

=POWER(2,ROWS(A1:A$475)-1)
