Excel Powerpoint links

Hi all

I've just changed jobs and encountered Windows 07 (urrrgh, but hopefully I'll get used to it).

In a previous version of Windows I was able to produce a power point presentation that linkled to excel and that you could update easily by refreshing links.

is this something you can do in Windows 07? Is there another method that would quicken things up?
