Hi

I wonder if someone can help me with a formula, it's probably simple but i am really stuck!!
I have three columns of dates, A1 = Date Booked B1 = Proposed Date C1= Visit Date

01/01/01 02/01/01 02/01/01
01/01/01 02/01/01 03/01/01 "Request other Date"
01/01/01 02/01/01 "Request other Date"

The formula i am using at the moment is =IF(b2<>c2,"Requested other date","") but if i have a blank cell in the B column i don't want it to return "Requested other Date" like it does in my example, i would like it to come back blank

Look forward to knowing the answer:)

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
How about

=IF(ISBLANK(B2),"",IF(B2<>C2,"Requested other date",""))

?
