excel protect sheet

How can i protect the excel sheet to prevent making the copy of the information. I want user still be able to search for the information within the sheet.

You could try disabling cut, copy, and paste in the workbook. Here's some code I grabbed from some message board in the past:

You'll need to provide a little more detail than that or I'd be simply guessing at what is wrong. I have succcessfully used the code provided many times over the last few years. Problem is most likely in your implementation of it.
