I am not extremely proficient with Excel, but I am getting there. I have built a database that references a weath of information from within but now I need that same database to pull data from some closed workbooks. What I need is to find out how to make this workbook pull information from a single cell in a closed work book (a personel file with a titled Firstname Lastname ID number.xls) and return it to the cell that requires the information in the open workbook. I need to be able to switch out the filepath so that this function can work to access around 100 closed workbooks. Is this possible? If so, any advice on how to get it created?
