I'm using Windows 7. When I open a new Excel Spreadsheet the
on-screen gridlines are a very light blue. When I'm inputting data and moving my cursor from cell to cell, it makes it very hard to see just where I'm at in the spreadsheet. Is there any way to make the lines darker?

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Welcome to the forums!

Adjust your screen contrast so it is a bit lower.

Your monitor should have a dial (CRT monitor) or buttons (LCD monitor) on it to adjust. It is different with every monitor, but the icon for contrast looks like a moon with half dark, half light.
