I am very new to this.

How can I create a formula that will tally the row for a timesheet with in, lunch, out, - 15 minute time increments and tally the column with the ending total of the row too that can be shown in excel and works also?

The formula that I came across is =SUM((D2-B2)-C2)

Can you help me?

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Hi - don't know about the 'works' bit, but a formula of the general form you suggested should work.

Post back with more details about how your data is set up...(& make sure you've read up the excel help file for 'How excel stores dates and times' - taking 15 off a time will take 15 days if you haven't got things set up right!)

PaddyD's reply is a good one in that we dont't know exactly what you want to see....being a new comer as well,i have found the search feature not only helpful on explanations but also to give other ideas on how things get done....see the referenced thread on sample I found searching "Time calculations"
