below is my query: i wanted to include the todaydate as field column.

Code:
    TodayDate = Format(Date, "dd-mmm")

    sqlstr = "SELECT e.DAX_ITEMTYPE, e.DAX_WHSE, e.DAX_LOCATION "
    sqlstr = sqlstr & "FROM [1.reference$] e "
    sqlstr = sqlstr & "WHERE isnull(e.Location) "
    sqlstr = sqlstr & "GROUP BY e.DAX_ITEMTYPE, e.DAX_WHSE, e.DAX_LOCATION"

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
