Excel Facts

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
For example, on top of the code that get starded by the command button, add these lines:
VBA Code:
If Day(Now) > 1 Then
    Beep
    MsgBox ("This command may be executed only on day 1 of each month")
    Exit Sub
End If

If it is an ActiveX you might use the WorkbookOpen event to set the control's "enabled property" = True or False:
VBA Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
If Day(Date) = 1 Then
    Sheets("Foglio1").CommandButton1.Enabled = True
Else
    Sheets("Foglio1").CommandButton1.Enabled = False
End If
End Sub
This has to be inserted in "ThisWorkbook" module of your vba
