Hi All

not sure if this an excel or word problem. I am running office 2010 in both. I am merging a simple list created in excel to a word file.

text fields merge fine

The numbers field a calculated digit rounded to 2 decimal palaces using the =round(x,2) function imports with 16 decimal places, with the last decimal place decreased by 1 so 9.28 becomes 9.2799999999999999.

The round function is purely belt and braces, as the true calculated answer is 9.28 with no rounding, however I have tried it with and without the round function with the same result.

Any ideas what I have done wrong or what is happening here ? Any quidance greatfully appreciated

Simon
