This sounds like a stupid problem. The reason I am bringing it to the attention of this newsgroup is that it is a recurring problem for different clients in Excel and I wonder if there is a reason for it.
The page setup is changed for landscape but prints in potrait. The printer configs have been verified.
Does this happen to anyone else in this newsgroup. So far the only solution we have found is to re install excel. Why is this necessary? Does anyone else have a better solution?
Oh how I love this newsgroup !

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
I encountered exactly the same problem with my old EXCEL5 .After many years of good service on many windows platform including one year on XP family, suddenly prints only in portrait, whatever option is selected portrait or lanscape.
Oddly enough this Excel5 is a part of MSoffice 4.3 and Word6 continues to print both orientations OK.

I tried reinstalling MSoffice 4.3 but there is no improvement

Do you have any hints ?

One thing maybe.............

Have a look to see if the add-in "Report Manager" has been enabled. If it has any print areas set up in report manager will stay as a default and you will be unable to change in the normal way.
