Execute Macro depending on user

Hi Excel experts!

I need to execute a macro (just a simple "msgbox") but only if a specific user (or users) have opened the file.

Couldn't find a place to start. Does anyone know if it's even possible? Hints/Tips/ideas (or even better; solutions ) are greatly welcome.

You can get the current user's Windows logonname with:

Dim LogonName As String
LogonName = Environ("USERNAME")

Based on that you can create a Select Case statement, or work with If Then...
